Creatures in the Park

Like all open ground we have lots of mammals but most are shy or nocturnal but if you sit quietly in the wooded areas you may see a field mouse or shrew scuttling in the undergrowth.

In the evening you may see a mole poke it’s head out of the mole hill

Larger mammals which are easier to see include the grey squirrel and rabbits. At dusk you may see a fox strolling along the edge of the wooded areas
